Monthly Zoom Python Meetup
Details
This month's topic:
ETL with Salesforce
(Extract, Transform, Load - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extract,_transform,_load)
Another case of automating some boring stuff. Woody Hooten will be presenting on the latest ßrazen 5tudios production for new partner, Global Energy (www.gogenow.com): an ETL wherein a massive, corrupted CSV is cleaned, split, scrubbed, split again, and loaded into Salesforce. Featuring a handy Python script from GitHub obviously called csv_splitter.py (https://gist.github.com/jrivero/1085501).
Thanks to the internet and the creativity of all involved parties, this monthly forum for learning and discourse is whatever we choose to make it. Let's get Pythonic about it, shall we?
The approximate schedule is:
7:00-7:10 - Mingle while people login
7:10 - 7:15 - Introduction. Code of Conduct, Sponsors, and Speakers.
7:15 - 8:05 - Talks. Q&A.
8:05 - 8:10 - Outro. Announcements and Open Discussion
8:10 - 9:00 - Socializing. Maximum Zoom.
Please share this event with your friends with any level of interest in Python!
