Spring Equinox Ritual ~Metamorphosis~

We celebrate the arrival of spring with a sacred ritual of metamorphosis. Like the transformation of caterpillar to butterfly, we find the change within ourselves to bring about dissolution, growth, and ultimately, freedom and flight. Traditionally this is a time to acknowledge the fertility of spring through the symbology of the egg, and the pro-creative rabbit. Ostara, the Goddess of spring is invoked to honor all these transformations.

In this ritual High Priestess Dev will set sacred space, ground and center the participants energy, cast the circle, call the directions, and invoke the Divine; Goddess Ostara is welcomed in to bring us growth and change. Our magickal work at this ritual will bring us into deep internal transmutation, though meditation of chrysalis to freedom. We will craft butterflies to bring home to remind us of our transformation. (craft supplies provided) To anchor our magick into the physical realm, the energy is raised in a cone of power. Ritual concludes with “Cakes and Ale”- mead and a non-alcohol beverage, and a vegan gluten free dessert.
