Note: This retreat weekend is intended for attendees 18 years and older due to content and themes. Please contact the event organizers for questions.
This event is held at Camp Moran Environmental Learning Center on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands of Puget Sound. The ELC has heated cabins with bunk beds. Restrooms & showers are inside some cabins and located in a separate building in others. Bring bedding, personal care items, and a bundle of firewood with you. Meals will be provided.
You must be 18 or older to attend.
Payment can be made through this Meetup site using WePay. Contact the Organizers if you need to make other payment arrangements.
Ferry Reservations: Starting July 20, 2015 Washington State Ferries will be accepting reservations for the San Juan Island routes on the weekend of the event. Reservation information can be found at http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Ferries/TakeaFerry/
Ferry Reservations are highly encouraged. There may be very long wait times at the ferry dock without them. Our Ritual activities begin at 4:30PM on Friday. Suggested arrival time is 3PM.

The Orpheus Ascending retreat weekend is an interactive Ritual Drama that will lead you into the liminal space between worlds and take you down unexpected paths. Along the way, you will receive the gift of Orpheus' lessons, a chance to learn through his own experiences, and get a glimpse into the mind of a hero. Dare to open yourself to the secrets of creating balance within, and to finding true freedom!
A Rite of Release will be a part of the main ritual for those who wish to send their love and messages on to the Dead, as well as an opportunity to receive the blessings of the Divine through sacred dance.
