Come help the Green Space Alliance plant trees and shrubs at the new memorial grove at Bulverde Oaks Nature Preserve.
This 31 acre parcel is a sanctuary for wildlife and native plants, which are under increasing pressure due to surrounding development.
They need help with the first planting phase of the Memorial Grove. Together, we’ll plant native and endangered species, increase biodiversity, and help create a contemplative garden space.
This workday will focus on establishing the foundation of the Memorial Grove—an intentional space that serves both people and the landscape.
We recommend bringing your own gloves, sturdy shoes, and a hat. Age limit is 16 and over unless a parent or guardian is present.
