
What we’re about
🌹 The hope for this group is to help bridge the gap between social isolation and connection for people who struggle with social anxiety, by offering small, safe, social gatherings.
🥰 We are social beings and are all in need of social contact, company and support sometimes, even if we can feel shy, quiet, introverted, or find social spaces difficult at times.
💭 Please reflect carefully on whether this space is genuinely for you before joining. If you are generally socially confident, loud, outgoing, or tend to take the lead in conversations - even if occasionally shy - this may not be the right group for you.
☕️ We do: hot drinks, movies, book clubs, food, music, and more. My hope is that we can create compassionate and understanding, introvert-friendly spaces together for one another, gently begin to build connections whilst also having some fun along the way.
▪️ Please note: I started this group as someone, like you, with my own experiences and challenges around social anxiety. I do my best but I may not always be around at all times due to the usual life stuff, please be patient and understanding.
