69 Fear Of Missing Out
The fear of missing out can feel overwhelming for an autistic person, especially when the world prioritizes constant social interaction. It may arise from seeing others effortlessly engage in events or conversations that feel inaccessible or draining. But what if missing out isn’t a failure, but a boundary? Choosing rest, stability, or solitude can be an act of self-preservation rather than deprivation.
Do you often feel envious or jealous?
Do you feel you aren’t as productive or successful as you would like?
Do you get enough adventure and stimulation in your life?
How much do you enjoy your own quiet company?
How is your acceptance? Are you content?
Do you feel your dreams are practical and realistic?
66 Stubborn Traits
We may find certain things about ourselves very hard to change. We may know that a behavior, limit, or quality may not serve us well, but understand realistically that we may be stuck with it. Perhaps we can improve a characteristic somewhat, or we may have work arounds and avoidance methods that help mitigate it. But sometimes there is no hiding when are flaws are confronted, it can be stressful and exhausting. We may need to address underlying issues to free ourselves.
What do you wish you were better at?
Do you ever feel exposed by your shortcomings?
Are you good at compensating for your flaws?
How is your self acceptance?
What is something you have tried to change or improve but had little success?
Is there something you need to face so that you can shift things?
Hope to see you there 🙂
