Lao Tse and Confucius, two great ancient Chinese philosophers, both deeply emphasized the importance of balance and meditation in our lives. Lao Tse, in the Tao Te Ching, advocated for "following the natural way," believing that inner peace and harmony with the external world are the ideal states of human existence, and meditation is a key path to achieving this state. Confucius, in the Analects, emphasized the "Doctrine of the Mean," promoting balance and moderation in life, and also pointed out the importance of self-reflection and inner cultivation. The wisdom of these two sages teaches us that inner tranquility and outer balance are the keys to a happy life, and meditation is the bridge to reaching this state. In this course, we will draw upon their wisdom to find inner balance and peace through meditation.
