Visual Novel Club: 'Monster Prom 4: Monster Con' play-together!

Welcome to another round of our monthly group-playthrough of a selected narrative-focused videogame. Like a mix between acting out a stage play together and watching a movie, depending on how much you want to join in! Participants are not expected to have played the game before.

October Game: Monster Prom 4: Monster Con

Find inspiration for your new comic, and perhaps, romance, while attending this year's Monster Convention, the nerdiest, most unhinged con there is. Bring your passions for cosplay, tabletop, anime, and all things paranormal, eldritch, and wild.

• Party-game dating-sim! Like if Mario Party had visual novel scenarios instead of mini-games
• Wacky, irreverent, queer, saucy
• Everyone will get turns to steer. We'll be splitting into four groups with active players rotating like a relay-race. No wrong choices, be yourself!
• Tons of opportunities for voice acting
• Goo guys, hipster vampires, clown girls, oh my

Doors open at 7. Snacks will be made available, and folks are invited to bring their own food and drinks to share. This event is free to enter, and costumes are encouraged 🎃

Game will start and player groups will be determined through a voting process at 7:30 with the 4 groups being structured around which 4 (of the date-able 6) monsters they want to woo. Folks can easily drop in and out with this one, though you should get here early if you want a say in who’s your bae.
