Rock the Day Sail

We're going sailing!

• Come out on Saturday, January 20th to "Rock the Day" Sail as the boat will be rocking with the winter winds on Galveston Bay. It will be an exhilarating ride out on the water with good wind! Tell everyone you're going out to ski on the water! Dress warmly and bring some extra layers! Bring ski jacket as the weather feels cooler on the water. The boat is "Bright Spot", 36' mono-hull and meet new friends.

What to bring - Drinks and food to share in soft sided coolers only. Red colored drinks (wine, Kool-Aid. and juice) are not allowed on the boat as they stain the deck. Also, no dark soled shoes as they leave dark marks on the deck.

• As always, paid members of Sail La Vie pay just $70 per sail while all others pay $90 ($70 for the sail plus $20 for a day membership to the club).

• We need a minimum of 8 people (1 skipper and 7 crew) to charter the boat. The sail will be cancelled if less than 7 sign up by Monday evening, January 17th. Plan to be at the dock 15 minutes early to load the boat and go over safety meeting. Please be on time! Allow for traffic and let the skipper know if you are delayed. The boat leaves on time and there are no refunds if you miss the departure time.

• The minimum age requirement to attend a sail is 21.
