It's Almost Tax Day Sail!

We're going sailing!

• The weather is looking good this time of the year for great sailing weather! Come out on Saturday, April 13th to experience best winds and breezes on Galveston Bay. Tax Day is around the corner, so let's celebrate on the 13th before we have to pay our favorite Uncle! The boat is "Bright Spot", a 36' Hunter. So, come out to join others and make new friends.

What to bring - Drinks and food to share in soft sided coolers only. Red colored drinks ( wine, Kool-aid. and juice) are not allowed on the boat as they stain the deck. Also, no dark soled shoes as they leave dark marks on the deck.

• As always, paid up members of Sail La Vie pay just $70 per sail while all others pay $90 ($70 for the sail plus $20 for a day membership to the club).

• We need a minimum of 8 people (1 skipper and 7 crew) to charter the boat. The skipper and 1st Mate have signed on for this event, so there is only 6 spots left. The sail will be cancelled if less than 6 sign up by Wednesday evening, April 10th. Plan to be at the dock 15 minutes early to load the boat and go over safety meeting. Please be on time! Allow for traffic and let the skipper know if you are delayed. The boat leaves on time and there are no refunds if you miss the departure time.

• The minimum age requirement to attend a sail is 21.
