Hiking the white coastal cliffs of the Seven Sisters

Details
This is one of the most stunning and iconic hikes in England. Not to be confused with the Seven Sisters area in London, the Seven Sisters Country Park is named after seven rolling white chalk hills on the southern coast.
It's a lovely 14 mile (22km) walk along the South Downs Way that rises and falls with the hills. As a result of these multiple climbs, this is a DEMANDING hike that will take over five hours. Please only sign-up for this hike if you're in good physical condition and confident you can do the entire walk. If you have questions about the difficulty and your ability to finish the walk, feel free to message Dave and we'll talk it through.
The effort is very handsomely rewarded with views of the cliffs and the iconic Beachy Head Lighthouse.
Provisional Itinerary:
We'll meet at Victoria Station (see below) and ride on a GROUP TICKET to Seaford. This means YOUR TRAIN TRAVEL IS COVERED IN THE PRICE OF THIS MEETUP and you must meet the group on time to leave/return. We'll walk along the cliffs for a couple of hours, stop for lunch, then walk to finish up at a pub in Eastbourne.
Recommended Kit:
• Good hiking boots or hiking shoes, trainers can be miserable if they get soaked through and dangerous if the trail is wet and slippery
• Waterproof outer layer including a Gore Tex shell (jacket) and trousers. An umbrella is often worse than useless here as the winds can get surprisingly high and usually blow toward the sea... not where you want to do a Mary Poppins impersonation
• At least 1 liter of drinking water
• A pack lunch
• A small backpack for all this stuff
