Sundowners is a longstanding, not-for-profit sailing club dedicated to bringing together friendly, enthusiastic people who are interested in active adventure holidays and the camaraderie that sailing provides.

Whether it be sharing a few stories at our regular meetups, our multiple annual cruising adventures, or some of our land-based social events and yacht training courses - our mission is to offer our members the opportunity to share in sailing experiences, form new friendships and create lasting memories together.

Whilst some of us are experienced sailors seeking adventures in more unknown waters, we are mostly comprised of everyday sailors who enjoy the fresh air, adventure, and the team spirit of a sailing holiday or two over the summer months.

We’re not a shouty bunch of race-heads, nor are we a bunch of beers-for-breakfast partygoers; we're an organisation that's interested in collaborating to create easy-going cruises in the sunshine where we can relax, unwind, take it all in and have a few adventures along the way.

Even though we are all involved in the club's organisation and adventures, all of our sails are run by experienced, RYA certified skippers who place safety, inclusion and learning opportunities at the core of everything they do.

So whether you’re just thinking that sailing might be an interesting adventure holiday, have some experience and want to learn more, or an old hand looking for a group of like-minded people to cruise with – we welcome you to join us at one of our meetups to find out a little more.
