☀️SaimaaSec Summer Cruise! ☀️

We're back! We promised to work for making the summer cruise an annual thing, so here we go again. SaimaaSec summer cruise will serve as a kickstart to summer festivities, for anyone interested in cybersecurity.

The meetup event includes two speaker sessions (Benjamin Särkkä & Jori-Pekka Rautava, topics TBA) at Valta Nightclub and ends with a cruise on the beautiful Lake Saimaa aboard M/S Camilla.

The event is sponsored by 2NS Oy and Disobey Ry. Speaker presentations at Valta and the Saimaa cruise are free of charge for all participants. The event will be held in English.

If you attended the summer cruise last year, all the practicalities, venue locations etc. are the same. Please check the practicalities below for more details.

Bar is open at the cruise, and drinks are to be paid for individually. Who knows, we might even have a Norpheus-branded surprise awaiting ;-)
Please note that there is no food served on the cruise, but there are light snacks (sandwiches etc.) available to purchase in Valta Night Club. We warmly encourage you to eat before jumping on the ship or heading to grab a bite once we get back to the dock.

Practicalities:
• !!! Arrive on time and register at our desk before joining the event. Registering via meetup.com is a requirement for attendance, no matter whether you only join the talks, cruise or both. !!!

• Participate in the event only if you are feeling healthy. We promote responsible behavior and hope all our participants respect this too.

• Taking photos and posting them to social media of the presentations is allowed. You can use the hashtag #saimaasec in your posts. Only event organizers and keynote speakers are allowed to photograph event participants without separate permission from them.

• Be nice and respect others. Check Code of Ethics from citysec.fi.
