What we’re about
Remember when we were kids and we used to play, engage, create, explore and pretend? We weren't stressed out or checking our phones, and, we loved to connect in person. This meet-up offers grown-ups just that - recess - because it's not just kids that benefit from play. We'll enjoy the art of play via improvisation, laughter yoga and mindfulness exercises. We'll check our devices at the door in order to authentically, joyfully and intentionally interact with those around us using the one thing that brings us all together - laughter! Who knows what adventures might unfold as we immerse ourselves in cooperative, unscripted play?

This is an all-arts open mic so you can bring your comedy, improv, songs, music, dances, poems, stories, diaries, and even your stupid pet tricks! Or, come to watch. This evening is like a talent show for grown-ups where you're hanging out in someone's living room taking turns entertaining each other. Bring a friend or make new ones as everyone is friends by the end of the evening.
