Dinner at Addie's Thai in Chesterfield

Details
I've come to love Addie's! Even if you think Thai might be too strong or spicy for you, I recommend that you try Addie's. They allow you to specify the level of spiciness you'd like - including zero - and have a very wide variety of dishes. Two different people have come with me to Addie's thinking they wouldn't enjoy it. They're both now regulars.
Thai food is similar to Chinese in some ways. They both rely heavily on rice or noodles as a base and they both use pork, beef, chicken, or shrimp along with vegetables in their dishes. One of the biggest differences is the use of spices. Thai can be much spicier if you prefer. Also, Thai tends to use fresher ingredients like coconut milk, fish sauce, and a variety of fresh herbs and spices while Chinese relies fairly heavily on soy sauce and pork, with other ingredients such as garlic and ginger. This means Chinese tends to be more pungent with a sometimes salty taste and Thai is known for a balance of sour, sweet, and spicy flavors using fresh ingredients and bold aromatic herbs like lemongrass, galangal, and chili peppers.
