Monthly Meal: 🌮 Fiesta Night at El Mezon (St. Peters on Salt Lick Rd)

Come hungry and bring your “one more bite” attitude—El Mezon is the kind of lively, laid-back Mexican spot where colorful vibes, big plates, and jumbo margaritas set the mood fast. Reviews love the generous portions, fresh chips + salsa, and a menu that’s massive (aka everyone can find a favorite). Expect crowd-pleasers like queso dip/queso fundido, fajitas (served hot with all the fixings), and loaded nachos—plus plenty of combo plates if you want to sample a little of everything. Service gets lots of shout-outs too: friendly, quick, and good at keeping things moving even when it’s busy.

They don’t accept reservations, but I’ll call the day before and get there early—still, we may not get seated right away, so please plan for a possible wait.
