Time After Time (1979)

In 1893 London, writer H.G. Wells has built the Time Machine proposed in his book. After the murderer known as Jack the Ripper uses the machine to escape into the future, Wells pursues the killer to 1979 San Francisco to stop him from continuing his murder spree.

Predestination (2014)
A Temporal Agent makes an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to prevent time-hopping killers from the future from committing their crimes. Now on his final assignment, the Agent must stop the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time and prevent a devastating attack in which thousands of lives will be lost.
