Saint George Social & Discussion Meetup Group

For this first meetup, my plan is to mainly just get to know each other and what kind of topics we would enjoy discussing. This can be anything from local travel to area eats to topics with a political or philosophical bent. As there are many self-help and support groups in the Phoenix area, where I come from, I should add that this is not intended as such but more of a social-discussion group. Please come ready to offer a couple of topics you'd like the group to discuss.

I'd like to start at the clubhouse in my development and see how that goes. It's a nice environment and we can sit outside or inside.
There are some larger tables and we can put a couple of them together.
As this venue is a business, it's expected that we will all purchase something to eat or drink: there's coffee and iced tea, dessert, appetizers, beer, wine, and more. Folks who like to eat early can certainly do that, as there is a restaurant there, or those (like me) who eat later can have appetizers and a drink of some kind.

As the event gets closer, I will message everyone individually with the address and directions after they confirm their attendance. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

For the second meetup, my plan is to spend 30-60 minutes discussing one or two topics picked by the first meeting's attendees.
