Let's talk about the future!

I am postponing our next event as it has become necessary for me to go down to Phoenix for a few weeks. I apologize for any inconvenience, but this happens from time to time as I live in both places.

My general topic for February is "the future," especially this new year of 2026. Are you hopeful or full of trepidation? Do you feel good about our current government or ready to tear your hair out? What do you fear the most in the coming year or so? World affairs? Crazy politicians? AI taking over jobs? The economy? Something else? What positive things are evolving, in your view?

We will meet at the clubhouse in my development, The Ledges, which is about 8 miles up Utah 18. The restaurant here is called Fishrock Grill. It's a nice environment and we can sit outside or inside. Probably at this time of year, we'll want to be inside. There are some larger tables, and we can put a couple of them together.

As this venue is a business, it's expected that we will all purchase something to eat or drink: there's coffee and iced tea, dessert, appetizers, beer, wine, and, of course, dinner.

As the event gets closer, I will message everyone individually with the address and directions after they confirm their attendance. Looking forward to meeting new folks and welcoming back those who have attended before.
