About us
Looking to meet other morning people like yourself? Come join us at a local coffee spot to make some conversation!
We welcome anyone who is looking to make friendly conversation, there is no specific target audience for this group. The only thing I would like to emphasize is that this group is a social networking group and is not a singles group. Do not connect with members through our events specifically for a romantic pursuit.
Here are some guidelines to follow to get the most out of this group and to keep everyone feeling welcomed:
- Respect and Inclusion
- Be Respectful - Emphasize treating others with kindness, courtesy, and consideration, regardless of their background, beliefs, or opinions.
- Promote Inclusivity - Ensure everyone feels welcome and valued. We want diverse voices and perspectives. Avoid discriminatory language or jokes that target specific groups.
- Content and Communication
- Focus on Shared Interests - Let's build this community based on shared passions, hobbies, or experiences. Share interesting content, spark discussions, and connect with like-minded individuals.
- Respect Boundaries - We value open communication and understanding. If someone expresses discomfort, please respect their boundaries and avoid further communication on that topic.
- Safety and Security
- Maintain Confidentiality - Do not share private information about others or the group itself without explicit permission.
- Reporting Issues - To report an issue speak with any of the Event Organizers.
- Enforcing the Rules - Violations of any rules for making people feel respected, valued, and welcomed will result in a verbal warning and then after that, repeat offenders will be banned.
- Building Community
- Recognize Contributions - Appreciate and acknowledge members who actively contribute to the group's success.
- Organize Events and Activities - Members are welcomed to organize their own events and activities. You can get in contact with any Event Organizer and we can help you do that or if you'd like to promote your own event in our groups. This can be as simple as just saying 'hey, I'm going to be doing "X" this weekend, does anyone want to join me?' or it can be any other public events you are attending or organizing
- Gathering Feedback - In the past we have used an anonymous survey to gather feedback from our active users. We'll continue to welcome feedback in all forms but this is our primary tool for that.
