Saint Louis Indie Rock Meetup Group

It seems like there are a million bands riding the shoegaze revival wave, but I think that Hotline TNT has been one of the best. I was impressed with their 2023 release, Cartwheel, and I assume that we're going to get a sneak peak at some of the songs from their new album being released in June. Y'all know I'm always looking for an excuse to get out to the Sinkhole. Don't forget your earplugs!

Folk-punk band, Apes of the State, are coming to the Duck Room. Equal parts personal and political, I have no doubt that they will be bringing plenty of energy to this show. No better way to spend a Tuesday night!

Calling all Cheek Freaks! With their distinctive talk-singing vocal style, Cheekface has been gaining momentum with each release. Their lyrics are self-deprecating and anxiety-ridden, but they also sprinkle in the right dose of the intriguingly absurd (that 60-second song about Hunter Biden and Don Jr. starting a manscaping brand together definitely caught my ear). I'll be hanging out upstairs starting at 7pm, and it's Saturday night so I'm down to hang for drinks after the show. Come join me!
