This hiking group is for single people who love to hike and engage in non political conversations. Open to critical thinkers, who are outgoing, adventurous people, that share a zest for life! Open to hikers of all levels and ages.
If you are under the age of 40, you are welcome to join, as long as you respect the guidelines.

Hi everyone! If you plan on joining us for our first hike, we will meet inside of the visitors center at 8:45am. If it is not open, we will meet in front of the building.
We will hike one of the “easy” trails this event. However, please come prepared.
For the experienced hikers, please be patient, as I want to use this event to gauge the level of experience of all attendees before we embark on our next adventure.
Please RSVP if you plan on joining us…I am looking forward to meeting all of you - if not on this hike, on a future one.

Mina Sauk Falls Trail Hike

Taum Sauk Mounain State Park, 148 Taum Sauk Trail, Middlebrook, MO, US
This trail is located in the St. Francois Mountains. It is the highest point in Missouri and the terrain is rugged. However, the payoff is the beautiful waterfall.
This hike will start at 8am, so please let’s all meet no later than 7:45am at the entrance of the trail.
Please come equipped for a somewhat challenging hike.
This is one of my absolute favorite hikes in the state of Missouri.
If you cannot attend this hike, no worries, I always plan to hike this trail twice a year.
