First Friday at the St. Louis Science Center

Details
Join us every First Friday at the Science Center (http://www.slsc.org/first-fridays) to inspire visitors to think about the Space-y side of things! Each month First Friday has a different theme and we do our best to connect Space Exploration with the monthly theme. The October 5 theme is The Goonies or Stranger Things, but it is World Space Week so our focus will be on WSW. The theme for WSW is Space Unites the World. We will focus on the ISS and international cooperation. Come to First Friday and help at St. Louis Space Frontier's outreach table. 6:00-9:00pm
This event is officially recorded on the World Space Week site: http://www.worldspaceweek.org/events/event-details/?eventID=19031
Future 2018 Themes:
*November 2: Bourne, Bond, and Beyond
*December 7: Doctor Who!
There are many ways to participate:
-
help plan and create our display
-
arrive around 5:30 to set up
-
help at the table for an hour, or the entire evening, 6:00-9:00pm
-
help clean up at 9:00pm
Before each month, we will update you on the theme of the month and our activities. Generally, we have a hands-on activity, information to talk about, a computer running a connected website or video, and a handout to distribute.
When you RSVP, please answer the question and let us know how you can help. (see above)
Come and Geek Out at First Friday every month!!
