A special offer and experience from Opera Theater of St. Louis ... just for us!

Details
A classic operatic comedy, a beautiful score of Strass waltzes, a very special ticket offer including seating together for the performance ... and special fun together in the gardens before the show. Don't miss this chance to experience opera in the most enjoyable atmosphere. Here are the details.
First, about the show:
Die Fledermaus (meaning "The Bat") is a comic operetta. It's known for its sparkling melodies, witty humor, and fun plot, making it a popular and enjoyable choice for audiences. The operetta revolves around a practical joke gone awry, romantic escapades, and champagne-fueled merriment. {Operetta is simply a lighter, more comedic form of opera, often incorporating spoken dialogue and dance, while opera is typically a more serious and sung-through dramatic work.}
All operas at OTSL are sung in ENGLISH to maximize our ability to appreciate the story and nuances of the characters. The lyrics are also visibly displayed for the audience.
Seating & Pricing
Our seating for the show itself inside the Loretto Hilton Center will be together as a group. We will enjoy the best group discounting offered by OTSL for these very good seats. Our ticket price is a flat $45. And there are no ticketing fees.
Before the Show in the Gardens
Opera Theater of St. Louis (OTSL) will reserve tables for our group prior to the performance under a tent in the beautiful Festival Gardens in front of the theater (see the pictures included with this event listing). We can bring our own food and drink to picnic together in that beautiful environment. OTSL also offers lovely picnic dinners you can order in advance if you prefer, as well as some light meals available without preordering, and a full cash bar available in the gardens.
In addition, the OTSL will provide a voucher for each of our attendees for a complimentary drink in the gardens before or after the performance or at intermission. (Often, patrons gather in the gardens after the performance to discuss the show and meet cast members.)
And, perhaps best of all, Anh Le (the director of marketing of OTSL) will join us at our tables in the Garden before the show to tell us about this production, suggesting things to watch and listen for in order to help us fully appreciate this operetta.
Ordering Tickets
The Opera Theater of St. Louis has created a special ticket ordering page on their website for our group to purchase seats that are on hold for us at this special pricing. There are 20 seats on hold for the Symphony Meetup. That number can be increased if we have more demand. Please order as soon as you can. This will help OTSL to accommodate us best.
Use this special link to order. You'll be able to see and choose from the seats set aside for us.
