Hannah Ji plays Piazzola with the Town & Country Symphony

Details

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Hannah Ji joins the Town and Country Symphony Orchestra under Maestro David Peek to present Astor Piazzola’s Estaciones Porteñas or Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. Hannah Ji is the Assistant Concertmaster of the SLSO and will play the violin solo of the featured piece.

This dynamic suite contrasts with Vivaldi’s beloved classic, giving it a syncopated and southern hemisphere twist. (It is, after all Hot! in Argentina during Italy’s Winter.) So put on your dancing shoes on and join TCSO for this special treat.

Alongside the talented Ji, the TCSO is proud to welcome the SIUE Suzuki Strings with an arrangement of themes from Schindler’s List. And our final 2024 Rising Talents winner Eric Chang with dazzle with his interpretation of the first movement of Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole.

This amazing concert is free and no ticket is required. The orchestra will reserve excellent seats for our group. Parking is free. The performance is at the beautiful Ridgeway Auditorium at The Principia School on Clayton Road in Town & Country.

Arrive early for closest parking and to meet Organizer Susan Suchy and socialize at our seats before the concert. (Susan will be in the lobby until doors are opened to the auditorium about 2:00).
