St. Louis Philharmonic -- Patriotic POPS Concert

The spectacular St. Louis Philharmonic Orchestra is back in the beautiful Purser Center for this summer's patriotic POPS concert! This concert is always a treat for our group.

This year's POPS concert will feature familiar music "From the Heart of America." It includes popular pieces from The American Frontier, Oklahoma, and Saving Private Ryan. Other favorites include Dvorak's New World Symphony, St. Louis Blues, 1812 Overture (boom -cue the cannons!), and The Stars and Stripes Forever.

Adding even more bang to this concert will be the energetic and charismatic guest conductor Christopher Kelts. He always adds a special flair and some surprising fun to concert performances.

There is free parking on the beautiful campus of Logan University where you will find the Purser Center..

If you can, please join the group for dinner before the concert at Mike Duffy's in Town & Country, only minutes from the concert. We have a reservation there at 5:45. Be sure to answer the question about dinner when you RSVP for the Meetup and the concert.

It's important that you keep your RSVP up to date - and that you purchase a ticket from the Philharmonic if you RSVP for the event - as the orchestra is saving great seats for us based on your response.
