This delightful FREE concert program will feature music from Ravel, Grieg, and more in this historic venue built in 1849 in Soulard and designed in a 14th century Gothic style.and more in this historic venue built in 1849 in Soulard and designed in a 14th-century Gothic style. Seating will be available in a unique circular setup at the center crossing around the musicians - it is an experience not to be missed! The acoustics allow you to hear every note with precision. Your hosts, Megan and Jen will both be performing in this concert alongside Robert Walker, clarinet, XiaoXiao Qiang, violin, Melody Lee, violin, Xi Zhang, viola, and Nathan Hsu, cello. Ravel's glorious Introduction and Allegro for harp, string quartet, clarinet, and flute will conclude a concert of flute and harp duos, and Grieg's String Quartet No. which blends Norwegian folk influences with the romantic chamber music tradition.
The Ariel Concert Series is a beloved St. Louis-based series developed and curated by members of the St. Louis Symphony.
