Pandofli Plays Gershwin with the Town & Country Symphony
Details
Join TCSO as we welcome rising star Thomas Pandolfi in this performance of George Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F Major; a piece that deftly combines Jazz and Broadway idioms with classical European forms in a quintessentially American whole. Also on the program are Sibelius emotional Symphony No. 1 in E Minor, with echoes of Tchaikovsky and Borodin, and the SIUE Suzuki String Program touring group playing selections from Vivaldi and the American songbook.
This concert is Free. No tickets are required. However, reserved seating for our group to sit together will be set aside by the orchestra based on your RSVP. (Don't be a no show, ever!) As always, come early for closest parking on the Principia campus. Let's meet at our reserved seats about 2:30. Music starts at 3:00.
For our optional dinner after the concert, with music director David Peek, TCSO board president David Ackerman, and other special guests. Please let us know if you'll be able to come to dinner in your RSVP.
