HOSTALIASES
Details
BASIC Tutorial: WHAT IS HOSTALIASES. Sort of a way to do nicknames for hosts, commands on a system. Similar to multiple names in /etc/hosts file. BY: Grant Taylor
MAIN Topic: Build A Router With Spare Hardware
BY: Grant Taylor and Lee_Lammert.
Routers are often needed in any network beyond basic consumer level, ... *BUT* you don't need to deal with commercial products that often times can't really do what needs to get done!
Tune in next Wednesday when to see how to take almost any PC (even a
Raspberry Pi) and build a functional router that can be customized for
just about any network job.
(Last month, Grant did the tutorial on "What's a router and why do you need one." The recording is available in the SLUUG archive at https://www.sluug.org/resources/presentations/ )
