Can an ordinary vacation photo secretly contain an encrypted file?
Absolutely.

We'l take a practical look at steganography on Linux -:

  • how it differs from encryption,
  • how data can be hidden inside JPG images, and
  • how easily that hidden data can be recovered later.

We'll:

  • demonstrate tools such as steghide,
  • discuss alternatives including OpenStego and OutGuess, and

look at the limitations:

  • recompression,
  • social media uploads,
  • file-size clues, and :
  • steganalysis.

Come see how it works - and why 'hidden"does not necessarily mean
"undetectable".

RISC is a broad design style for computer processors, while RISC-V is a specific, open-src set of rules based on that style. Core Concepts:

  • RISC-V: A modern, specific project started in 2010 at UC Berkeley that uses the RISC idea.
  • RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer): A general philosophy where chips use simple, fast commands that take the same short amount of time to run. Older examples include ARM and MIPS.

Key Differences

  • Ownership: RISC is just a concept used by many companies. RISC-V is a free, open standard managed by RISC-V International.
  • Cost: Traditional RISC chips (like ARM) require expensive licenses and fees to use. RISC-V is free for anyone to use and change without paying royalties.
  • Customization: Traditional RISC designs are rigid. RISC-V lets builders add optional parts (like math or AI helpers) depending on what they need.
