In our most recent conversation, we explored memory, time, and identity. We wondered: What makes me the same person I was yesterday? We remember our past, anticipate our future, and weave those experiences into the story called "me." That continuity seems central to our sense of identity.

But we also forget. Things that once seemed essential to who we are become inaccessible, irrelevant, or simply fall away. So now let's ask: What allows you to become someone different tomorrow?

Is forgetting, like remembering, necessary for learning, adaptation, and change? Living systems are shaped by their histories, yet they still produce novel futures. If memory creates continuity through time, what role does forgetting play in transformation? And what might identity be if it depends not only on what we carry forward, but also on what we are able to let go?

This conversation will be free-form, which means it might meander into adjacent topics. No need to prepare or bring anything but your curiosity and an open mind.
