What we’re about
-Going to read a book a month
-Focused on uplifting marginalized voices for our book selection
Schedule as follows:
This will be a hybrid group. I will host online discussion in our discord server starting at 7pm Thursdays
First week Is book introduction, author background, mini history lesson optional.
Second week of the month is optional book discussion/online chatting/
Third week is the same
Last week is book discussion and meetup in person.
I will work to find ways for folks to either find books for free, pdfs, library or from local bookstores.
This is a LEFTIST SPACE to grow at. Nobody is expecting perfection, but you should expect honesty, real conversations and be able to listen and hear. If you are only heart to argue…do that online bby.
