What we’re about
This is a group for Liberals / Progressives to spread democracy, one pint at a time. Just as the "Founding Fathers" would meet at the pub to discuss topics of the day, we get together to talk about politics and issues - or anything at all - in an environment of fellow liberals. Yes, it's good to debate with those of opposing belief, but sometimes it's nice to just socialize and know that others are of at least a somewhat similar bent. We support equal rights regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, spiritual beliefs, etc. Really just want to enjoy each other's company over a beer (or soda or wine or whatever) and relax and perhaps share news and ideas along the way. Expect laughter and swearing.

We meet on the outdoor balcony (go past the bar and you will see the glass door to the balcony).We've got a couple of cooler days this week, but when we meet Thursday evening, it should be around 70F, so that is rather nice :)

Don't worry if you are new and only see a few RSVPs if you look at Meetup :) Anyone is welcome (as long as they are civil), and we talk about pretty much ANYthing -- some of which is political and plenty that is just life in general :)
