We gather again this Thursday at 6:30pm at: The Hangar Restaurant
on the second floor (there is an elevator in addition to stairs)

Assuming the weather is good, we will be OUTSIDE on the balcony (just past the bar). If it's raining sideways (more than a drizzle), then just ask any of the staff where we are if you don't spot us easily).
- There are still millions of Trump-Epstein files to be released.
- "Trump says "the war is very complete," and he's considering taking over Strait of Hormuz" (CBS News) https://tinyurl.com/rx8z8s3e -- Meanwhile, "The same afternoon the president said the war is "very complete, pretty much," the Department of Defense posted on X, "We have Only Just Begun to Fight" and "no mercy.""
- "MAGA Melts Down Over Hours-Long Airport Line Chaos" (Daily Beast) https://tinyurl.com/6mcp8b8u -- Republicans blame Democrats for the partial gov't shutdown, resulting in TSA workers not getting paid. Democrats are holding firm, demanding reform of ICE in order to allow DHS funding to be approved. From the Dems: "...(we) won’t let Trump blackmail Democrats into funding rogue ICE agents just because he started a war with Iran."
- "Documents Reveal a Web of Financial Ties Between Trump Officials and the Industries They Help Regulate" (ProPublica) https://tinyurl.com/n95k5579
- "The Government Uses Targeted Advertising to Track Your Location. Here's What We Need to Do." (Electronic Frontier Foundation) https://tinyurl.com/2jc73mwd
- And here is a very UPLIFTING article. I strongly suggest everyone read it, because we do need to focus on some of the positive in the world: "The yoghurt delivery women combatting loneliness in Japan" (BBC) https://tinyurl.com/47xnp2az
- And, there are still millions of Trump-Epstein files to be released.
Please note that several "regulars" show up most weeks, and therefore do not RSVP. Don't worry if you are new and only see a few RSVPs if you look at Meetup :) Anyone is welcome (as long as they are civil), and we talk about pretty much ANYthing -- some of which is political and plenty that is just life in general :)
