We will be OUTSIDE this week on the balcony; it should be mid-70s F with a breeze. Just ask a server where Drinking Liberally is if you don't spot us.

I don't think anyone knows how the war in Iran will resolve - least of all Trump. And so, I will share something I read very recently, precipitated by being told 45-50 years ago of an Indian saint named Tat Wale Baba. I do not remember anything at all from the conversation/s, but I found a small book ("Tat Wale Baba, Rishi of the Himalayas"), published in 2022. So I've been reading a bit in there.

A student asked him, "Will there be world peace?".
The response: "The world is within you. And, if you are at peace within, if your awareness is established in your Self your world is in peace."

It seems the US is in near constant war, and humans in general likewise. From the Vietnam War through to the current war in Iran and many in between -- it's just insane. And so, while we each do what we can to help effect positive change in our government and society, it is important that we also each take care of our individual selves, and hopefully find some internal peace even as the outer world seems in constant flux.

Meanwhile, There are still millions of Trump-Epstein files to be released. Let us not be "lulled" into forgetfulness of the Trump-Epstein files by the various other issues that rightfully compete for our attention: rising prices, employment struggles, Iran war, ICE activities, insider trading, and so much more.
