We gather again this Thursday at 6:30pm at: The Hangar Restaurant on the second floor (there is an elevator in addition to stairs)

Given that the temps have been in the 90s of late and we've had semi-regular evening thunderstorms, I've asked The Hangar to seat us INSIDE during the remainder of the hotter/ stormier months. When in doubt, just ask a server where Drinking Liberally is (typically at a row of tables between the stairway and the bar).

IMPORTANT: If you'd requested a mail-in ballot, you should have that already (deadline has passed for requesting). Please consider returning it in person directly to one of the offices for the Supervisor of Elections ( https://www.votepinellas.gov/168/Office-Locations ) to minimize any problems. Note that you can check your ballot status (verify that it is marked as received, and then after the election verify that it was counted) at https://www.votepinellas.gov/189/Check-My-Status ... Florida's primary election is scheduled for next Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Meanwhile, There ARE still millions of Trump-Epstein files to be released. Let us not be "lulled" into forgetfulness of the Trump-Epstein files by the various other issues that rightfully compete for our attention.

Please note that several "regulars" show up most weeks and therefore do not RSVP (last week we had 10 folks, sometimes we have 15 or more - it varies) . Don't worry if you are new and only see a few RSVPs if you look at Meetup :) Anyone is welcome (as long as they are civil), and we talk about pretty much ANYthing -- some of which is political and plenty that is just life in general :)
