Join us for Sakkie’s Origami Crafting & Social on ANZAC day.
As ANZAC Day approaches, we reflect on the spirit of peace and the strong friendship that Australia and Japan share today.
In Japan, the origami crane is a symbol of healing and a universal wish for peace. On the Saturday, as we gather on our terrace, we want to fold cranes and some other honouring the past while celebrating the peaceful connections we’re building together in Sydney. ✨🕊️We’re bringing the meditative art of Japanese paper folding to our terrace. Whether you haven't touched origami since childhood or you're a total beginner, this event is all about unplugging from the digital world and creating something beautiful with your own two hands.
From iconic paper cranes to modern geometric designs, we’ll guide you through the folds in a chill, no-pressure environment.### What we’ll do:
We’ll spend the afternoon folding together. There’s something magically relaxing about focusing on your fingertips it’s the ultimate ice-breaker! You’ll share laughs over tricky folds, help each other out, and leave with your own handmade paper masterpieces. 🎨📐

I’ve noticed that our community loves to chat, and crafting can be thirsty work! We’ve set up our Self-Serve Soft drink Station where you can help yourself to drinks throughout the event. Just write your name on your paper cup and stay hydrated while you create! 🌸 Keep the conversation flowing as easily as the paper folds!
