About us
This group is for anyone interested in Buddhism or anyone simply wishing to try out Buddhist meditation in a relaxed and friendly setting. Sessions are led by experienced meditators who give an introduction to tranquillity meditation to help develop a calm and peaceful state of mind. This meditation technique is common to all Buddhist schools and our particular transmission is from the Sakya School of Tibetan Buddhism. For those who would also like to find out more about Buddhist ideas and beliefs, our Discover Buddhism classes combine tranquillity meditation with a talk on a key topic. After each class, there is also time to ask questions and talk to fellow meditators. Every session is open to all and no booking is required.
