Hello All

The short walk on Sunday starts from the picturesque Cheshire village of Great Budworth.

We will assemble at Great Budworth Ice Cream Farm CW9 6ND

We have not been there for a few years so it will be nice to return


The owner has told us that we are welcome to use their car park as we will return there at the end of the walk for refreshments. Toilets are available before we start the walk.

PLEASE PARK AT THE FAR END OF THE CAR PARK SO THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARRIVING LATER ON ARE ABLE TO PARK NEARER TO THE FARM

We will meet at Brooklands at 1030 to arrange car shares. For those who would like to go directly to the venue the details are as follows:

Depart from M33 3SS, Sale, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom
Private Road
Gated road
Turn right then bear right onto Brooklands Station Approach
Turn left onto Brooklands Road
Turn left onto A6144 / Marsland Road
Turn left onto a56 / Washway Road
Keep left to stay on a56 / Chester Road
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit for ramp
Merge toward A556
Keep straight to get onto A556
Bear left onto Chester Road
Keep left, heading toward Chester / Knutsford / Macclesfield / NORTH WALES / Northwich
Bear right onto Pickmere Lane, then keep straight to get onto B5391 / Pickmere Lane
Bear right onto road
Continue on Budworth Road
Bear right onto Budworth Heath Lane
Road name changes to Knutsford Road
Keep straight to get onto Belmont Road
Turn left onto Heath Lane
Arrive at CW9 6ND, Budworth Heath, Cheshire West and Chester, United Kingdom on the left
The last intersection before your destination is Belmont Road
If you reach Westage Lane, you've gone too far
Budworth Heath, CW9 6ND, England

• We will aim to start the walk at 1110
• The walk is a relatively easy 6 to 7 mile flat walk, there are sections of road walking on fairly quiet lanes. We will walk to Arley and Pickmere before returning to Great Budworth.
• Dogs are allowed on the walk provided that they are kept on a lead where there are fields containing animals.
