Sunday 29 June 10 Mile Walk Tarporley

PLEASE NOTE, MOST MEMBERS OF SWAG DO NOT DO MEETUP HENCE THERE WILL BE FEW PEOPLE LISTED HERE, ALL WALKS ARE HOWEVER WELL ATTENDED

The walk is just under 10 miles, a circular walk from Tarporley. We will pass through the delightful villages of Utkinton and Eaton, and will be proceeding at a slow pace so that Michelle can participate.
The walk grading is E/F. The walk is mostly flat and on public footpaths through fields. Some stiles and a few short muddy sections if there has been rain. Animals likely in the fields, so no dogs.
Specific risks identified are:

• Crossing several busy roads and a short section of road walking (footpath along a busy section; bring a hi vis vest if you have one).
• Golf balls (we walk beside several golf courses).

We will start from the free public carpark behind the Rising Sun pub in Tarporley. Park at the rear of the carpark; please do not park in the front/centre of the carpark as this is reserved for Rising Sun customers. Postcode CD6 0DX. What3words episode.carrots.majoring
If the car park is full, there is also free roadside parking.
The walk will begin from this point at 10.15am. If you want to car share, please meet at Brooklands at 9.00 am for a 9:15 am departure. We will go straight to the walk start, so please organise yourselves.
We will go to the Rising Sun afterwards.
