I will be leading a 10 mile walk on Sunday 9th November around Eyam, grade C.
Meeting time at Brooklands for car share is 8.45am ready to leave at 9am, for those living in the Stockport area i will be at Hazel Grove park & ride car park for car share, postcode SK7 6BF ( W3W
outsiders.weddings.amending) at 9am ready to leave at 9.15am. The walk will start from outside the Bull pub in Foolow postcode Hi All,

Meeting time at Brooklands for car share is 8.45am ready to leave at 9am, for those living in the Stockport area i will be at Hazel Grove park & ride car park for car share, postcode SK7 6BF ( W3W
outsiders.weddings.amending) at 9am ready to leave at 9.15am. The walk will start from outside the Bull pub in Foolow postcode S32 5QR (W3W hurt.trailing.profiled )
at 10.15am. There is free parking on the roads near the Bull pub.

From the centre of Foolow we will walk east along field paths to Eyam, we will have a stop in Eyam where there is cafes & toilets ( Eyam is known as the plague village, in 1665, its villagers self quarantined to prevent the spread of the bubonic plague to neighbouring communities.) We then walk south west to Stoney Middleton before an ascent upto 250m to walk around Calver Peak where we will have lunch, then walking west along Rough Side to Black Harry Gate, then north west through fields on paths to Housley, then west to Stanley House, then north east on paths through fields back to Foolow.
Total ascent 468m

Please bring gators & walking poles.
Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a lead when going near livestock.
Post walk drinks will be at the Bull pub in Foolow.
