Meeting at Brooklands as normal, 8:45am for a prompt departure at 9:00am.
I shall be there to organise transport.
Destination Llanferres approx 51miles and around 1hr 10 mins drive, the walk will start at 10:30am prompt.
The walk is 11.5 miles with a total ascent of 2600ft, the climb is all in the first 2/3 hours.
There are toilets and cafes on the latter part of route.
Hazzards, we cross a busy road twice, but with good visability, some styles, some of the decents are a little tricky, therfor if you use poles, bring them, some of the long grass is likly to be wet, so gaiters will be useful, there are a few fallen trees to negotiate, lots of sheep ( not suitable for dogs) but no cattle. I expect the walk to be completed before 4:30pm, however a torch may be useful, as daylight is short.
