Discover Deepwood with Just Walk Salem Keizer

Join us as we stroll through the formal gardens at Deepwood. We’ll learn about how the plants and the landscape are affected by hallmarks of climate change such as extreme temperatures, drought, and altered precipitation patterns, and how those impact historic gardens and plant selection. Then we will walk through the natural area to identify some of the invasive plants there and learn why they are so successful at crowding out native plants. This walk is limited to 20 participants, first come, first served.
