About us
Taste, enjoy, and learn more about good wine as well as beer, scotch, bourbon and the food that goes with it. The goal of the group would be to select a specific liquor to learn more about and taste as well as foods that pair with them. Hopefully, this will lead to fun, interesting conversations, and new ideas/experiences as related to above. Events can be at homes, venues, etc and all members will be allowed —-and encouraged— to suggest and/or schedule events that fall under this rubric.
All events will be limited in number of attendees and will have a specific overarching theme that will tie things together, price point, etc, and for which attendees will be expected to meet and observe.
Because of this, those who sign up will be expected to show up and/or if conflicts arise, due and timely withdrawal from the event will be expected. Repeat no shows or late withdrawals from an event, will lead to removal from the group.
Additionally, this is not specifically a drinking group…nor is it a dating group, political group, or anything other than as stated.
It is hoped that all who attend will make new friends, have interesting conversations, and learn more about wine, food, craft beer, scotch, bourbon, etc.

Chemeketa Cellars Barrel Tasting
Chemeketa Cellars, Chemeketa Eola, 215 Doaks Ferry Road NW, Salem, or, USHey guys! This is not actually an "organized" event, but more of an FYI thing. If you don't get emails from Chemeketa Cellars, you may not be aware that it's nearly time for the annual Barrel Tasting event. We've gone a few years now, and it's always a good time. This years event is May 30 from 1-4pm. General ticket admission is $35 and includes tastings and snacks. They are available for purchase from Chemeketa Cellars website: https://www.chemeketacellars.com/annual-barrel-tasting/. I would suggest that if you have any other questions, you contact them directly (instead of asking me.) I will be there though, and will be very happy to see you and have you join me!!!
