In the beautiful Pinot Noir room at Chemeketa Cellars, participants will discuss thoughts about poetry writing, and will take away notions to sharpen and focus poems and their writing in general.
The workshop leader and poet, Marc Janssen, has over 30 years of experience. He is published with over 350 poems around the world. Janssen coordinates the Salem Poetry Project, is the author of November Reconsidered, and is a two-time Oregon Poet Laureate nominee.
All proceeds raised from this event will be used to help fund the Salem Poetry Festival scheduled for February 2027. The cost is $40.
