Salem Poetry Project Featuring David A. Goodrum

David A. Goodrum is the author of Abrupt Edges (2026), Vitals and Other Signs of Life (2024) and Sparse Poetica (2023). Recent poems have appeared in The Orchards Poetry Journal (with a Pushcart Nomination), and Triggerfish Critical Review, among others. His chapbook manuscript Half Undone was shortlisted in the 2026 Silent River Poetry Prize. David lives in Corvallis, and was recently president of the Oregon Poetry Association. The Salem Poetry Project continues at the Bush Barn Annex, 600 Mission St SE, Salem. Parking for the Bush Barn and Bush House is located off of High Street and the Annex entrance is just to the left of the main entrance. Each week will present a featured reader followed by the Infamous Open Mic: 3 poems or five minutes whichever is first. Featured reader begins at 7:00 and the open mic will directly follow.
