Call of Cthulhu

About this Game:
Investigate the dark mysteries of the Miskatonic Valley during the 1920s, and uncover the horrible truth about the Mythos and other Eldritch Horrors. This is a drop-in/out game about regular people investigating monsters and strange cults based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft.

Notes from the GM:
This investigative horror game focuses on normal people who slowly descend into madness as they learn the dark truth about the world. Characters should be connected to the Miskatonic University and The Society for the Exploring the Unexplained in Arkham, Massachusetts. The Society is a group dedicated to advancing human knowledge and helping people with all manner of strange events. Investigators can be any profession as long as they have a connection to at least one of these groups. CONTENT WARNING: Body horror, Violence, Profanity, Mental health decline, including hallucinations, delusions, mania, phobias, and general loss of control (I'm studying Occupational Therapy, and I'll approach mental health conditions using the DSM V). The setting is 1920s, and I avoid emphasizing the racism, sexism, and general persecution of the era.
