Bloodstone: Orcus Reigns!

On Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at 6 pm, I will be running a game of Dungeons & Dragons (5th Edition 2024 Revision) at f/Stop Fitzgerald's Public House.

This is the first episode in a drop-in-drop-out, no commitment, open-table, episodic campaign. New and inexperienced players are welcome!

Bloodstone: Orcus Reigns! is a fast-paced, hard-boiled campaign, with many opportunities for roleplaying and pulpy, two-fisted combat. The Dread Legions of The Demon Lord of Undeath, Orcus, have conquered nearly all the known world. Orcus stands on the precipice of total victory. Are you fated to survive the unending onslaught of his Dread Legions, and one day, face Orcus himself?

Notes from the GM:
You may bring your own Level 3 character. Use the standard array or point buy for ability scores. Take average hit points. Take only the equipment granted by your class and background. You may take either one potion of healing or one 1st-level spell scroll as your common magic item. Please restrict your character options to those available in the Player's Handbook (PHB 2024) and Creating a Background in Chapter 3 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide (DMG 2024).

Pre-made characters will be provided on request.

New sessions will be on the first Tuesday of each month. This high-speed campaign will span from Level 3 to Level 20, with heroes leveling up every session. New and returning heroes level up to match the current level for each session.

Combat will be “theater of the mind” (no miniatures) with perhaps a quickly sketched map, when needed.
