RISE OF KURTULMAK

About This Game:
Far in the North of Faerun, over the countless peaks of "The Spine of The World" famous for its brutal winters and the hardy folk living in the "Ten Towns," lies the land of Icewind Dale.
The town of Easthaven is but one of ten tiny, frigid villages clinging to survival. They endure, but it is a hard life, built on Lake Lac Dinneshere. Fishing is the primary form of employment here. The building of the Eastway trade road connecting Easthaven with the Bryn Shander―the largest settlement of the Ten Towns―proved to be a boon to the village. Over time, it became the fastest-growing community in the region. Amidst this village, we find a small tavern, "The Wet Trout," frozen and wet with mildew, with fishing nets hanging from the walls. Your characters find themselves gathered around a cold, damp pine wood table. A potbelly coal stove near the entrance to ward off the cold. enormous petrified Whale ribs hanging off the open rafters above. A man sits down at the table and looks across at you all, He reaches into his satchel, "We need to talk." As he places on the table a Skull of a Gnome and turns it towards you all, a name carved into its forehead in Draconic Kurtulmak...

Notes from the GM:
Instead of One-Shots this year, I'm running a series of Short Campaigns. The Rise of Kurtulmak will play everyother Wednesday from 6-9 pm. After the table is established, it will be a closed table. Plan for 5-6 sessions spanning levels 1-5 using 5e 2024 rules. Setting: Faerun, Icewind Dale.

Place: Treasure Trove Games (formally known as Shiv Games) located at 3800 River Rd N ste 160, Keizer, OR 97303. Drinks are available for purchase; however, no food is available on site. You may bring your own food or snacks, or have food delivered to you. This game will be held in one of the private themed rooms. Each attendee is responsible for a $5 table fee paid directly to Treasure Trove on the day of the event.
