We are wanting to provide an opportunity for folks to learn/play games they might otherwise not have the opportunity to. Come meet some new people and play some new games or play ones your already know. We will have someone here to play and teach games as well if needed.

Also as per usual it will cost $5 to play games with no time limit.

 
 
 

This game needs little introduction for those who have experienced the horrors of space aboard the doomed starship, the Nemesis. Check out BGG (Nemesis | Board Game | BoardGameGeek) for a full description if you are a first timer.

We will have up to 3 tables available to play (2 Nemesis, 1 Lockdown). If you have never played, you won't want to miss this one! It is definitely one of my considerations of GOAT games. This is a semi-coop game where there can be more than 1 winner, or all losers depending on how the story plays out.

For new players, think the original movie Alien, with more than one alien type to deal with (including the Queen from Aliens) and a secret personal goal attached to win. Allow for 4-5 hours of play on this one. It can take as little as 3 rounds for everyone to die (which I have experienced before), or several hours trying to survive, achieve your objective, and escape. This game does have player elimination if things go south for you.

And remember: no one can hear you scream in space!

Note: Ticket to Play Board Game Cafe has a $5 table fee per player. They also have drinks and food so come out and support a local, family owned business!
